Introduction
Welcome
to the Titusville Police Explorer Post #486 web site. Thank you for showing
interest in our post. Hopefully any information you are looking for can be
found here, however if you have any questions feel free to
contact us.
The
Titusville Explorer Post was established in 1971. We won 1st place at state
competition in 1993, 1994, and 1995 therefore retiring the trophy.
The
main purpose of the Explorer post is to give young adults who are interested
in Law Enforcement a head start. However many of our members are not interested
in Law Enforcement and have found the program to still be a valuable learning
experience in areas such as discipline, rank structure, teamwork, etc.
In
addition to learning about law enforcement and training for state competition,
the Explorers also do a tremendous amount of community service. We do everything
from fingerprinting children and presenting McGruff the Crime Dog at various
events to directing traffic and crowd control at our local high school football
games. If you are interested in requesting us for an event please contact
us.
