The Island Cup Regatta took place on October 14th. After an early start (7:30am), "Eileithyia" and crew raced down the ICW from Homeport Marina and out through Clearwater Pass bridge just in time for the start of our class. Conditions were
sunny w/ 8-12mph winds.

Mike in the foreground, Naomi coming on deck, with Skipper Klein (standing) and Mr. Shields on the deck.

Mike sets the spinnaker pole as we go "Wing & wing" on the downwind leg on our 27' O'Day, "Eileithyia". Naomi's holding the boom out while Mr. Shields supervises.

We did respectably enough for a boat with a crusty bottom and we'll do better next time. The crew sailed well, and a great time was had by all.
